When the electric drum is used in the food processing industry, the food-grade silica gel will be used for coating treatment according to the needs of customers. Food-grade silica gel is mainly composed of SiO2 65 It also has excellent electrical properties.

We know that when the electric drum needs to be used in a more special industrial industry, we can use NBR to coat the electric drum according to the needs of customers. Nitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR) is a kind of synthetic rubber which is prepared by copolymerization of butadiene and acrylonitrile. It has excellent oil resistance, high wear resistance, good heat resistance, strong adhesion and good aging resistance.

However, in most cases, we do not recommend the customer to carry out coating treatment, because this will affect the heat dissipation of electric drum, especially for small electric drum such as TM80. Heat dissipation method is oil-immersed heat dissipation, heat will be transmitted by the motor through the oil to the cylinder, and then through the outer belt for heat dissipation. The coating treatment may affect the heat transfer from the cylinder to the belt, thus affecting the heat dissipation performance of the electric drum itself. So, do you want to wrap it up?
